There are many organised activities on the island but if you just want to create your own activities there are plenty of places to explore and discover by yourselves by walking or taking off in the car to unspoilt areas all over Kefalonia.

With the amount of amazing sights and scenery in Kefalonia it is a photographers paradise, so don't forget to pack your camera!

Mount Ainos is the place to go to view the beautiful Island of Kefalonia (see if you can spot Villa Loukia from the summit!)

The main routes up the mountain have very good roads, but if you want to go off the beaten track there's plenty of opportunity to do so with many a windy bumpy track to explore, we've done it in a small Panda car but I think a 4 wheel drive is recommended!
